Looks like your 2015 Lance 1995 travel trailer has 3,500 lb leaf spring trailer axles that have a 2-3/8 inch diameter so the best solution we have to improve the ride quality of it would be a shock kit like the # LC281255 which you'd need one for each axle.

We definitely have a couple options available to carry your generator, though it will depend on the weight of said generator.
First, the Stromberg Carlson Trailer Tray Cargo Carrier # CC-255 will install on the A-Frame at the front of the trailer. This has a 300 pound capacity and being 29 inches tall, it will typically clear any accessory or propane tank. Based on what you mentioned it sounds like what you are looking for is the Bristol Double RV Waste Valves # 34466ND14AAR. This has hubs on both ends of it for a 3 inch and 1-1/2 inch pipe. Since it's a hub that fits over the 3 inch pipe it would have an outer diameter of 3-1/2 inch like you are looking for. The center fitting is a 3 inch spigot which means it fits into a 3-1/2 inch pipe.

Yes, you can swap out a 2" weight distribution shank for a 2-1/2" weight distribution shank. This will actually be the preferred method instead of using a sleeve adapter as there will be much less movement inside the receiver tube.
